Um/a Senior Accountant bem-sucedido/a deve ter:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filings.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors for financial audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Perfil ideal

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • Proven experience in accounting and finance, ideally within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
