Our client is a well-established industrial organisation currently undertaking a significant manufacturing expansion project in Portugal. To support this strategic investment, the company is looking to recruit an Industrial Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new production line and ensure the successful execution of the project from planning through to operational start-up.

Descrição

  • Lead the implementation of a new industrial production line from project launch to operational start-up;
  • Ensure project objectives are delivered on time, within budget and according to quality standards;
  • Coordinate facility adaptation and construction activities;
  • Manage licensing processes and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Coordinate the installation and commissioning of production equipment and supporting systems;
  • Act as the main point of contact between internal teams, suppliers, contractors and external stakeholders;
  • Monitor project progress, timelines and financial performance;
  • Prepare regular reports and status updates for senior management;
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures;
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Perfil ideal

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field;
  • Proven experience in industrial project management, preferably within manufacturing environments;
  • Experience in industrial expansions, plant start-ups, production line installations or capital projects;
  • Knowledge of industrial licensing and regulatory frameworks;
  • Understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements;
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors and external suppliers;
  • Knowledge of industrial infrastructure, including electrical systems, compressed air installations and cooling systems;
  • Experience managing project budgets and investment costs;
  • Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI;
  • Fluent English;
  • Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
