This role will encompass all facets of the production and delivery, people and financial management oversight for our portfolio of Private Equity (PE) and Real Estate (RE) clients.

Descrição

  • Manage processes and activities through team of Accountants to achieve expected service, solution or product outcomes for team and/or Fund Administrative Services (FAS) department.
  • Accountable for ensuring all work is completed timely, accurately and according to procedures.
  • Make decisions regarding processes/systems issues, utilising depth of knowledge/technical expertise to provide guidance and direction to teams and escalating issues.
  • Manage communication with appropriate stakeholders. Drive team to identify and implement continuous improvements.
  • Prioritise and align work to strategic priorities.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate and reduce operational risk, and assess controls, utilising metrics and exceptions reporting, to ensure FAS department productivity and quality of output.
  • Evaluates risk events and implement corrective actions for control deficiencies. Contribute to improving control environment.
  • Understands current and forecasts future work volumes and staffing needs required to meet service objectives. Will assist the senior leaders in driving forward key initiatives for talent development.
  • Identify, coach and develop talent in the team to meet and/or exceed performance expectations.
  • Manage assigned budget for team within established guidelines. Proactively adjust financial plan and business goals in response to changing business and economic environment and ensures business goals are met within established financial targets.
  • Understands and communicates business/financial climate and decisions/prioritisation to team.

Perfil ideal

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Master's Degree preferred but not necessary.
  • Qualifications in CPA, CIMA, CA and ACCA preferred.
  • 4+ year's management experience either directly managing employees and/or playing senior role.
  • Experience in Accounting for Private Equity/Real Estate funds in Luxembourg - Advantage.
  • Experience in Transfer Agency activities such as equalisation, capital calls/distributions, investor register & transfers, etc - Advantage.
  • Thorough business management knowledge to implement processes, products or services, and technical expertise to apply functional/process knowledge to diverse issues.
  • Knowledge of various accounting standards and principals (IFRS, and/or LUXGAAP, USGAAP).
  • Knowledge of the regulatory regulations pertaining to Alternative funds such as RAIF, knowledge of AIFM regulation is an added advantage.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, including mastering Excel.
