We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Shared Services Center to lead the implementation and management of a centralized Finance Shared Services Center, covering transactional activities in P2P (Procure-to-Pay), R2R (Record-to-Report), O2C (Order-to-Cash), Credit Management, and Master Data.

The Head of Shared Services Center is responsible for leading and managing the financial operations of the SSC, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with corporate financial objectives, driving process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • SSC Implementation: Lead the phased transition of transactional activities into the SSC over 18 months, ensuring alignment with stakeholders in US/Canada and Europe.
  • Process Ownership: Manage and optimize P2P, R2R, O2C, Credit Management, and Master Data processes to achieve operational excellence.
  • Team Leadership: Build, develop, and motivate an international, multicultural team to deliver high-quality services.
  • SAP Management: Ensure full integration and adoption of SAP functionalities across the SSC processes.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams and finance leads to drive consistency and ensure seamless operations.
  • Performance Management: Define and monitor KPIs, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and cost-saving targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency initiatives within SSC functions.

Perfil ideal

  • Proven track record in setting up or managing finance Shared Services Centers.
  • Expertise in transactional finance processes (P2P, R2R, O2C, Credit Management, Master Data).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (finance and data management modules).
  • Leadership experience in an international and complex environment.
  • Excellent change management skills; ability to transition processes and engage teams.
  • Advanced communication skills; fluent in English (additional languages are an asset).
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP).
