The Head of Finance & Strategy will act as the CEO's trusted business partner, taking ownership of the company's financial activities while supporting its growth strategy through financial modelling, business planning, capital raising initiatives, investor relations, and the evaluation of new investment opportunities. This role offers the opportunity to shape the finance function and contribute directly to the company's long-term success.

Descrição

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the CEO, supporting key business and investment decisions.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance monitoring.
  • Develop financial models, business plans, and investment cases to support growth initiatives.
  • Assess new business opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and joint venture projects.
  • Support capital raising processes, including interactions with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.
  • Manage banking relationships, debt facilities, and financing structures.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and decision-making materials for management and shareholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and capital allocation.
  • Drive the digitalisation and optimisation of financial processes and management information.
  • Oversee accounting, reporting, tax compliance, and coordination with external service providers.
  • Support commercial decision-making through market analysis, pricing reviews, and financial evaluation of strategic initiatives.

Perfil ideal

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Finance Management, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Financial Advisory, or a similar finance leadership role.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, forecasting, cash flow management, and business planning capabilities.
  • Experience supporting fundraising initiatives, debt financing, investor relations, banking negotiations, or strategic transactions.
  • Ability to evaluate investment opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives from both a financial and strategic perspective.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience interacting with senior leadership, investors, lenders, and external advisors.
  • Entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and growing business environment.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with financial systems and business intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Fluent English is essential; Spanish is considered an advantage.
