We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager with fluency in French to lead our financial operations, ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, and support business decision-making for French‑speaking markets.

Descrição

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee all daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, GL, payroll, and month-end close.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with French GAAP, IFRS, local tax regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Manage audit processes (internal and external) and act as the main point of contact for auditors.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.



Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with business leaders in French-speaking regions to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear reports for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Support strategic initiatives, investment appraisals, and cost‑optimization programs.



Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles.
  • Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, presenting corrective actions.
  • Implement continuous improvement in financial planning processes.



Team Leadership

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members.
  • Assign responsibilities, set performance objectives, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.



Compliance & Controls

  • Strengthen internal control frameworks across finance activities.
  • Ensure tax compliance for French-speaking markets (VAT, corporate tax, payroll taxes, etc.).
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.

Perfil ideal

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in management.
  • Strong knowledge of French accounting and tax regulations.
  • Expertise with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Fluent French and English.
  • Experience working in a shared services environment or multinational company.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
