We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex IT projects within the industrial/manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT project management and a proven ability to oversee projects from inception to completion. The company is based in Porto region and the function may be developed fully remote.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects in alignment with business goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets while mitigating risks effectively.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in IT project management.
  • Utilize methodologies such as PMI, Prince2, or IPMA to streamline project workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align IT solutions with organizational needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IT project management framework.

Perfil ideal

A successful Senior IT Project Manager should have:

  • At least 7 years of experience in IT project management within the industrial or manufacturing sector (preferencial).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI, Prince2, or IPMA.
  • Azure DevOps experience a plus.
  • Proven track record of managing complex IT projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a medium-sized team environment.
  • Proficiency in risk management and problem-solving strategies.
  • English fluency.
