We are recruiting a Senior Accountant, specializing in Consolidation and Reporting, for a Multinational located in the Parque das Nações.
Descrição
- Consolidation process
- Preparation of monthly closing and consolidation process;
- Ensures that accounting records are maintained and are in accordance with corporate and accounting standards (IFRS);
- Reviews and updates internal working papers to comply with IFRS requirements;
- Financial Statements
- Preparation of Annual/Quarterly Financial Statements (consolidated at Group level);
- Develops and enhance of accounting policies and procedures to align with IFRS;
- Performs technical reviews on Annual/Quarterly Financial Statements at Group and Standalone level;
- Audit
- Provides technical opinions on accounting matters;
- Attend audit meetings for discussion of technical matters (if required);
- Group improvements and internal controls
- Implements best practices and ensure consistent adherence to IFRS guidelines across Group;
- Develop and implement accounting procedures to optimize the workflow of the department, maintaining and strengthening internal controls;
- Increase productivity by identify opportunities and proposing/developing automated reporting tools/systems;
Perfil ideal
- Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration or a related field;
- 4+ years working in a technical accounting role with a focus on reporting and consolidation;
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, namely, strong Excel
- Knowledge of IFRS standards and their practical application in a business context;
- English skills both written and spoken (mandatory);.
Not required, but a plus/valued:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specially in Power BI ( word and PowerPoint)
- English proficiency
- Worked in one of the big 4 companies.
