Descrição

  • Contribute in creating a corporate culture that is based upon open communication, respect, transparency and a high level of professionalism across the Region and the employees;
  • Take an active role as an HR Business partner of the General Managers (GMs) in the Operations and the Regional GM as well as the main contact point when working with Global HR team at the HQ;
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR initiatives including recruitment, strategic workforce planning in line with staff cost, HR department budget (including training), compensation and benefits process, talent management, succession planning, training and development, performance management, and leadership development (employee handbook, procedures, guidelines etc.)
  • Develop and/or revise procedures and guidelines from scratch when needed to provide standardization across the terminals and in the Region;
  • Develop and implement HR KPIs (HR analytics) and provide reports to the RGM and HQ HR in a timely manner;
  • Take an active lead in SAP implementation project (Employee Central, recruitment, on/off boarding, training and development, performance management, succession planning, talent management, compensation management etc.);
  • Collaborate with HQ HR team and Regional GM when implementing restructuring and reorganization in organizational development related matters. Apply necessary change management initiatives;
  • Consult with the GMs and function leaders to implement a talent and succession planning and review process for building organizational strategies, reviews of talent, plans for growth, development and training;
  • Provide leadership and direction in driving a culture of high performance and accountability;
  • Provide consultation on employee engagement and satisfaction techniques designed to build the desired organizational culture;
  • Develop employer branding via collaborating with the universities and attracting students and young potentials to the company via internship and management trainee programs;
  • Take an active role (when needed) in participating international recruitment projects;
  • Take an active role (when needed) in participating regional and global terminal takeover projects;
  • Take an active role (when needed) in participating global HR projects and/or taking an interim role;
  • Understand and abide by current local employment laws/regulations in Iberia region (including Portugal and Spain) as well as corporate governance related procedures accordingly;
  • Take a supporting role when dealing with union related issues in an effective manner together with the Legal and Employee Relations function;
  • Communicate any changes in Holding (HQ) personnel or human resources policies and procedures and ensure proper compliance is followed;
  • Ensure appropriate systems (punch in/out or shift scheduling) and self-service is in place to allow the HR team to deliver a quality service efficiently;
  • Take an active role in analyzing the overall staff cost (over time, permanent headcount, subcontractor cost) to develop cost saving areas and to improve operational efficiencies in that regards. Take initiative in making necessary changes in a timely manner;
  • Help ensure that the Holding's mission, vision and values are pertinent, prominent and practiced throughout Iberia region.

Perfil ideal

  • Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or closely related field;
  • Master's degree in Human Resources Management is preferred;
  • MBA can be a plus;
  • Have minimum of 7 years of experience as a HR Professional, preferably in one of the following functions such as recruitment, performance management, training & development, organizational development, career planning, employer branding;
  • Fluent in both Portuguese and English (Spanish as a third language is preferred);
  • Professional knowledge of MS Applications (Word, Excel and Power Point);
  • Professional knowledge of SAP;
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, reporting and research skills;
  • Experience with People Analytic;
  • A 'can do' approach, willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description;
  • Is self-directed and self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team environment;
  • Have customer, quality, process and result driven approach;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete tasks according to deadlines;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills interact with people from various countries, cultures and all business levels;
  • Good team player with strong problem-solving skills.
