Together, we're building the infrastructure that powers a sustainable future.DescriçãoHow You'll Make an ImpactLead cost management for major construction projects, from initial estimation to final delivery, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards and sustainability guidelines.Develop project cost estimates, support budgeting, and manage costs to keep projects within agreed budgets.Assess the cost impact of project risks and support change management and claims processes.Prepare and present regular status reports on project budgets, committed spend, and forecasts, keeping cost data up to date.Collaborate with the Digital Acceleration team to implement digital tools for cost management and reporting.Share best practices and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in cost management across future projects.In addition to these core responsibilities, you'll also support sustainability initiatives, contribute to innovation, and provide cost management expertise to the Real Estate (RE) community.Perfil idealA successful Quantity Surveyor should have:Proven experience in the retail industry or construction sector.Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.Excellent analytical and numerical skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in relevant software and tools for cost estimation.Good understanding of legal and regulatory compliance in construction projects.What You Bring3-5 years' experience in cost management for construction projects of industrial facilities, ideally in international and multicultural environments.Strong knowledge of feasibility estimating, cost planning, tender management, value engineering, benchmarking, and claims management.Proven ability to implement and maintain high-quality cost management processes.Experience supporting budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation for large-scale projects.Advanced skills in using digital cost management tools and reporting systems.Master's degree or equivalent in construction engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering, architecture, or a related field.Beyond these requirements, your ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and your drive for continuous improvement will help you thrive.
