PLC and HMI Engineer - Lisbon (m/f)

• The PLC/HMI programmer engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and
• processes.
• Your job is to implement these systems to make processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
• The PLC/HMI engineer will need to transform and optimize control diagrams into PLC/HMI language, understand the operational processes of the organisation as it is a multidisciplinary role, working
• closely with colleagues across a number of functions, including design, operations and process safety.

Main Responsabilities:

• Designing and developing new control systems
• Testing, maintaining, and modifying existing systems
• Analysing data and presenting findings in written reports
• Managing operations
• Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other internal staff
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and contractors
• Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards
• Providing advice and consultancy support
• Writing computer software and test procedures
