The Manager of Deals and M&A will play a critical role in managing merger and acquisition activities, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting deal execution.   • Lead and manage M&A transactions from inception to completion, including financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence.
  • Manage and lead advisory engagements related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Conduct thorough financial and operational analyses to support deal negotiations and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify strategic objectives and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Oversee the due diligence process, ensuring comprehensive analysis of target businesses.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to define and implement M&A strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, valuations, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate negotiations with potential targets, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and risk management.
  • Oversee post-merger integration activities to maximize synergies and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making.

Perfil ideal

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Deals or M&A Advisory;
  • Previous experience in Consultancy is mandatory, preferably in Deals Advisory;
  • Experience in Big Four environment can be a plus.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English - spoken and written.
