A sucessful Head of Securities should :

  • Oversee securities transfer operations and ensure accurate processing.
  • Manage corporate action events and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise income tax processing related to securities transactions.
  • Lead and develop a team to achieve departmental goals effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal compliance policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and improve processes to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and clients.

Perfil ideal

A successful Head of Securities should have:

  • Fluency in French (C1 level) and strong communication skills.
  • Proven experience in securities transfer, income tax, and corporate action.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment in Lisbon.
