Our client is a major hair and beauty brand management and distribution group, partnering with some of the world's most recognised professional brands. It specialises in building premium brands across salons, retail, and professional channels, combining commercial execution with strong brand storytelling and education.

Descrição

Commercial & Brand Ownership

  • Act as the senior commercial owner and brand custodian for two premium brands in Portugal.
  • Build and execute the country strategy aligned with global brand standards and the company´s European vision.
  • Ensure both brands are positioned as premium, high-performing professional brands in the market.



Sales & Revenue Ownership

  • Own sales performance, revenue growth, and profitability across Portugal.
  • Develop and deliver a scalable sales strategy across salons, key accounts, and strategic partners.
  • Set targets, track performance, and ensure consistent delivery against commercial KPIs.



Team Development

  • Set clear expectations, targets, and standards of performance.
  • Build, and develop the Portuguese sales team as the business grows.
  • Coach the team to sell brand value, education, and long-term partnerships, not just product.

Distribution & Operations Oversight

  • Take ownership of the full distribution model, including forecasting, stock flow, and operational execution (in partnership with central teams).
  • Ensure smooth order fulfilment, logistics, PR, Marketing and customer service, maintaining premium service standards.
  • Work closely with company's wider European team to ensure operational alignment and efficiency.



Customer & Market Relationships

  • Act as the face of the brands in Portugal with customers, educators, distributors, and industry partners.
  • Build long-term, relationship-based partnerships with salon owners and key stakeholders.
  • Represent the brands at industry events, launches, and education sessions where required

Perfil ideal

  • Senior sales, commercial, or country management experience (beauty, haircare, FMCG, or premium brands preferred).
  • A proven ability to build and scale a business, team, or territory.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a solid grasp of distribution, margin, pricing, and brand value.
  • Experience managing teams and driving influence and accountability.
  • Confidence in dealing with global brand partners and operating at a senior level.
  • A hands-on mindset, strategic when needed, operational when required.
