The Accounting & TAX Specialist ensure that the Accountant Division is provided with effective and efficient finance services to support local legislation and statutory requirements, whilst ensuring quality of financial accounting and management information for internal/external reporting.

She/he will establish a well-performing operation that supports specific business requirements of the division, in collaboration with SSC, business, and finance stakeholders.

  • Coordinates with country stakeholders, and manages relationship with external accounting provider and SSC, to ensure integration, efficiency/effectiveness of the financial processes for the Division;


  • Support in creating / improving financial processes specific to division systems and requirements;


  • Drives the integration of Division in processes and operational model and identifies opportunities standardize operations in line with Group process design;


  • Manages the relationship with external auditors and with tax authorities;


  • Provide financial support to CCFO and CFO of legal entity to meet corporate governance duties;


  • Ensures operational excellence and compliance (e.g. Segregation of duties, internal controls) in running department activities;


  • Manage country project teams to support implementation of systems & processes, as per standards;


  • Accountable for Office Space and local Ops Archives;


  • Prepares manual journal entries (e.g. provisions, accruals, expenses, etc.);


  • Oversee accounting and tax activities performed by 3rd party;


  • Performs monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts;


  • Oversees the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable;


  • Drives credit management and collections;


  • Oversee and support the finance activities performed by others;


  • Support financial processes linked with local Manufacturing Plant;


  • Facilitate data required for internal management reporting needs.

Perfil ideal



  • University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance and Chartered Accountant / MBA or similar qualification will be valued;


  • 5 years experience in Accounting (SNC and IFRS) and Tax;


  • Certified accountant will be differentiating;


  • General understanding on payment processing, POs, Credit management and collection;


  • Experience on dealing with international stakeholders;


  • Excellent English both spoken and written and knowledge in Spanish will be valued;


  • Hands-on profile but with some strategic mindset (experience leading change is a plus);


  • Strong experience with ERP is a Plus (PHC or SAP);


  • Proven track record in projects management and ability to work in a matrix organization (not mandatory).
