Descrição

Develop power electronics modules in collaboration with application, core & advanced product development teams

Introduce and improve tool chain to simulate electronic circuits and circuit board assemblies

Evaluate and assess the electric, electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical performance of electronic circuits & assemblies

Execute analyses for design optimizations and early design risk mitigation

Create models and maintain simulation libraries for SI, PI, EMC, thermal and reliability analysis of electronic systems in related ECAD/MCAD/CAE tool chain

Validate and enhance simulation models

Execute and support component & system tests

Compare test and simulation results

Coordinate external CAE studies

Present results internally and externally

Perfil ideal

Academic degree in electrical / electronics engineering or similar;

Strong knowledge of electronic systems;

Hands-on experience on statistical analysis for electrical circuits and systems, DC, AC, Transient, RF, SI/PI, ESD, EMC, Electromagnetics, Thermal, multiphysics simulations

Profound experience with electronics simulation software tools like SPICE, Hyperlinx, ANSYS Electromagnetics Suite, CST, ANSYS Sherlock or similar as well as 3D CAD tools (ideally Catia V5);

Test method knowledge;

Usage of standard software packages (MS Office);

Good presenting and communication skills

Fluent in English (verbal & written)

Willingness to travel
