Descrição

  • Build, implement, and manage global privacy policies with a "GDPR‑first" approach, adapted to local jurisdictions;
  • Lead market assessments for new geographical expansions, identifying relevant privacy requirements and advising internal teams on permissible use of personal data;
  • Draft and review complex, data‑centric client agreements, including terms of service, privacy policies, and commercial contracts;
  • Handle client requests related to data protection, including information withdrawal, right to be forgotten, and other data‑subject rights;
  • Oversee tracking and fulfilment of client data rights for new products (e.g., portfolio analytics, market insights, indices);
  • Draft and review NDAs, legal agreements, and other supporting documentation;
  • Monitor industry developments, regulatory trends, and best practices relating to data privacy, including emerging AI/ML regulations;
  • Conduct ad hoc legal research as needed.

Perfil ideal

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a top‑tier law firm and/or in‑house in data rights or data protection;
  • Licensed to practise law in good standing in Portugal;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills;
  • High integrity, adaptability, and willingness to grow in a fast‑evolving business environment;
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage complex legal issues with clarity and independence.
