Core Business Support:
- Prepare the client (majority shareholder of the Core Business group) for Board Meetings by analyzing financial documentation, liaising with the group CFO, and preparing relevant questions and comments.
- Assist in the approval of annual financial statements for the holding company.
- Support sporadic and extraordinary Board meetings (investments, special projects).
New Ventures:
- Set-up dashboards and KPIs. Allow client to make decisions on financial investments in new ventures..
- Conduct monthly P&L analysis for new ventures, liaising with local "intra-preneurs" to ensure clear understanding and control of investments and profitability.
- Provide bi-monthly coaching calls to entrepreneurs to enhance their business management skills.
Personal Holdings:
- Supervise accountants and lawyers, providing guidance on revenue and cost management.
- Oversee the approval of annual financial statements.
Perfil ideal
- Minimum of 15 years in a corporate finance role, ideally as a Group CFO or Financial Director in a multinational environment.
- Experience in auditing is a plus.
- Proven track record in analyzing and translating complex financial data into understandable terms for non-financial professionals.
- Excellent educator with strong communication skills. Ability to make finance sounds simple to business leaders with less of a finance background but very strong business acumen and entrepreneurial skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
- Strong positive attitude with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Exceptional listening skills, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to adhere to corporate values of curiosity, excellence, honesty, passion, and teamwork.
- Open-minded with a multicultural background.
- Interest in Asian cultures is a plus.
- Punctual and able to meet in-person in Cascais approximately 30% of the time, with the remainder being remote work.
