  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in the industrial sector market, focusing on innovative technologies like phage-based therapies, probiotics and other biotechnologies;
  • Drive market penetration through targeted strategies, identifying key industry players and building a pipeline of potential clients;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives;
  • Oversee the product development process, from initial concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with market needs and regulatory requirements;
  • Manage the company's intellectual property strategy, ensuring that innovations, including phage-based products, are protected through patents and other forms of IP;
  • Collaborate with legal teams to assess patentability, oversee patent applications, and manage existing patent portfolios;
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on product innovation, patents, and market trends;
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and opportunities in the health products and phage therapy sectors;
  • Analyze competitors' offerings, patent filings, and market strategies to inform business development and innovation efforts;
  • Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and industry leaders to advance product innovation and expand the company's market footprint;
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events to promote its health products, innovation capabilities, and IP portfolio;
  • Engage with potential partners to explore joint ventures, co-development agreements, and IP licensing opportunities.

Perfil ideal

  • Bachelor degree in Life Sciences, Biotecnology, Business, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred);
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, product development or commercialization within the industrial sectors (farming, agricultural, food industry);
  • Experience in managing the development of industrial products, including phage-based technologies, with a strong focus on innovation and IP protection;
  • Demonstrated experience in patent strategy, including overseeing patent filings and managing IP portfolios, particularly for innovative industrial health products and biotechnologies;
  • Deep understanding of phage-based technologies, biotechnology, and the broader health products in the industrial landscape;
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, biotech and industrial health products sectors, including regulatory frameworks and market trends;
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts, such as product innovation and IP strategy, to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
