Our client is an European leader in the automotive sector.
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for Portugal to develop sales, implement the company's strategy and manage the dealer network.
Developing sales and improving the brand's market share managing and incentivizing the dealer network (around 30 dealers at national level);
Analyzing the brands' and dealers' performances and acting as a leader, driving achievement of company's targets;
Developing the dealers' network through appointment of new points of sales and aftersales following the company's requirements and standards. Managing, if necessary, the termination of dealer contracts;
Supporting the dealers to hire new salespeople, organizing sales people trainings and following their activity;
Following up with the dealers on vehicle and parts orders, deliveries and payments. This process will also be supported by administrative staff;
Proposing and organizing marketing activities in the market, in collaboration with the marketing department and Leadership team;
Establishing partnerships and managing local marketing suppliers such as communication agencies with the support of the Marketing department;
Reporting weekly on the evolution of the dealer network, the competition and giving general market's highlights.
5 - 10 years experience in Sales Management and a significant experience in the automotive sector;
Strong experience in sales dealer network management is required, ideally in mobility related business;
Good level of autonomy and versatility;
High analytical and customer-driven problem-solving approach;
Strong orientation for service excellence and ability to develop effective relationships with different stakeholders at different levels;
This job requires daily dealers visits at national level;
English mandatory. Spanish would be appreciated.
