Air Liquide is a French multinational company which supplies industrial gases and services to various industries including medical, chemical and electronic manufacturers.


  • Managing treasury operations and controls (cash pooling/sweeping, forex hedging, etc.);
  • Cash and liquidity management through cash flow planning and forecasting;
  • Monitoring and managing the organisation's bank relationships and liquidity management;
  • Analysing and performing appropriate hedging and funding activities (Forex, swaps, loans, deposits, etc.);
  • Driving treasury specific projects/initiatives;
  • Understanding and experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cash flow and various financial instruments;
  • Motivate staff and create a good work environment with an open communication;
  • Achieve established quality standards by communicating job expectations, providing direction on priorities and monitoring individual and team performance;
  • Manage resource allocation in the Treasury accounting team to ensure efficient/effective resource utilisation;
  • Manage key performance indicators, proposes and follow-up on relevant action plans;
  • Propose and follow-up on improvement/efficiency projects;
  • Escalate alerts, potential risks/issues to SSC Director and to others managers;
  • Ensure Service Level Agreement compliance;
  • Ensure integrity of financial systems and the financial operating model, in accordance with financial procedures, external audit, internal control requirements and best accounting practice.

Perfil ideal

  • From 10 years of experience in the Treasury area, preferably with Bachelor/Master's
  • Degree in Accounting, Management or similar, and/or with experience in the respective areas
  • Previous experience with team management or supervisor tasks
  • User knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Experience in Shared Services Centre is a plus
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) - Extra languages are valued (Spanish; French)
  • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills
